Welcome to the CTA! CTA was founded in 1940 to provide educators a viable alternative in professional organizations. CTA provides professional liability insurance, legal assistance, a state lobbyist who represents our members in Raleigh, local representation on several key committees, a monthly newsletter, and much more for your investment. We are a growing professional organization that supports teachers at the local and state level. We do not use your money or name to support any political candidates. Your investment is used only to support your local organization! We are the only proactive voice for teachers in the local area. For you, our members, this means that you have an organization which is engaged daily at the grass roots level. Together, we can make a difference. To our members: if this is your first time to this website, you must first go to "Join CTA" and complete the registration form. You will chose your own password and submit the form. Our office manager will then authorize you to enter the Members Only section of the website. On the Member Main Page, we have outlined the features available to you on this web site.
